Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority
Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) was established under the statutory provisions of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Act, 1974, with the objective of promoting industrialization, creating awareness about the state’s industrial policy, and fostering an environment conducive to the continuous growth of industries in the state. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 read with Section 15 of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority Act, 1974, and with the approval of the Government of Bihar, the BIADA Rules, 1981, and the BIADA (Financial, Service and Technical) Regulations, 2007 were framed to fulfil the purposes of the Act.
