About BIADA

बिहार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकार (बियाडा) को बिहार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र विकास अधिनियम, 1974 के वैधानिक प्रावधानों के तहत स्थापित किया गया था, जिसका उद्देश्य औद्योगीकरण को बढ़ावा देना तथा राज्य की औद्योगिक नीति के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करना है, साथ ही राज्य में उद्योगों की निरंतर वृद्धि के लिए वातावरण बनाना है। बिहार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र विकास प्राधिकार अधिनियम 1974 की धारा 5 के साथ पठित धारा - 15 के अधीन शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, बिहार राज्य सरकार के अनुमोदन से, उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों को पूरा करने के लिए बियाडा नियमावलि 1981 एवं बियाडा (वित्तीय, सेवा और तकनीकी) विनियमावलि, 2007 को बनाया गया। 2007 के प्रशासनिक पुनर्गठन के बाद, 2022 में बियाडा के प्रशासनिक संरचना में बदलाव लाया गया जिसके अंतर्गत औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों (IA)/ औद्योगिक संपत्तियाँ (IE)/ औद्योगिक विकास केंद्र (GC)/ मेगा औद्योगिक पार्क को दो क्षेत्रों (South & North Zone) के अंतर्गत 10 क्लस्टर में विभाजित किया गया। वर्तमान में 94+ औद्योगिक क्षेत्र (IA)/ औद्योगिक संपत्तियाँ (IE)/ औद्योगिक विकास केंद्र (IGC)/ मेगा औद्योगिक पार्क(MIP) हैं, और 10+ से अधिक औद्योगिक क्षेत्र जल्द ही बियाडा का हिस्सा बनने जा रहे हैं। नए औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों की स्थापना का निर्णय राज्य सरकार के द्वारा लिया गया है।

Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) was established under the statutory provisions of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Act, 1974, with the objective of promoting industrialization, creating awareness about the state’s industrial policy, and fostering an environment conducive to the continuous growth of industries in the state. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 5 read with Section 15 of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority Act, 1974, and with the approval of the Government of Bihar, the BIADA Rules, 1981, and the BIADA (Financial, Service and Technical) Regulations, 2007 were framed to fulfil the purposes of the Act. Following the administrative restructuring in 2007, changes were introduced again in BIADA’s administrative structure in 2022, under which Industrial Areas (IA)/ Industrial Estates (IE)/ Industrial Growth Centres (IGC)/ Mega Industrial Parks (MIP) were divided into 10 clusters under two zones (South & North). At present, there are 94+ Industrial Areas (IA)/ Industrial Estates (IE)/ Industrial Growth Centres (IGC)/ Mega Industrial Parks (MIP), and more than 10+ additional industrial areas are set to become part of BIADA. The decision to establish new industrial areas has been taken by the State Government.
